Ms. Dent, Byron Middle School choral director, is proud to announce that 5 students have been selected to represent Byron Middle School at All State Chorus in Savannah, GA in February. The students had to go through two auditions, competing with many other students over the state of Georgia and they have finally earned their spot! The 2nd audition took place this past Friday and their scores were outstanding!! Odessa Taylor, 96.1%, Eboni Steele, 96.05%, Preston Price and Lucas Gray, 92.67% and Hunter Johnson, 89.47%! The students have worked hard and it has really payed off!! GO EAGLES!!!
On Monday, January 23, 2012, the Region 5 FBLA Conference was held at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. More than 800 students, which included high school and middle school students, from Region 5 attended. The conference included leadership workshops, competitions, a March of Dimes service project, lunch, and an Awards Ceremony.History Snapshot
