    Meals for students ages 18 and under will be available for pick up only, beginning Tuesday, March 17 between 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. until further notice. The pick-up sites will be Byron Middle School and Peach County High School.

Meet the “Trojan Scholars” for the Month of March

The Trojan Scholar girl for March is Madison Carmichael. Madison is a senior at Peach County High School where she is dual enrolled at Middle Georgia State University and works at Freshway Market in Byron. She is a recipient of the 2019 UGA Certificate of Merit Scholar and has been on the A+ Honor Roll throughout her school years. She plans to continue her education at Middle Georgia State after graduation to major in Nursing. She will be able to start Nursing School at MGA in the Spring of 2021.

Madison is the daughter of Jerry Reeves and Kristen Carmichael. She is the granddaughter of Diann and Ronnie Carmichael.

Madison would like to share that thanks to dual enrollment she will enter college having already completed her first two years.


The Trojan Scholar boy for March is Johan Angeles. Johan is a senior at Peach County High School where he is a member of the Football and Soccer teams. He has received the Highest Grade Point Average for a Senior in Football, has been on the A Honor Roll 9th – 12th grade and has been a Scholar Athlete for football and soccer 9th – 12th grade. Following graduation he plans to attend Georgia State University. Johan is the son of Juan Angeles and Jessica Olga Guerrero. He is the grandson of Jesus Guerrero, Dolores Padilla, Arturo Angeles and Estela Cervantes. Johan would like to share “I make music and want to become a music producer one day. I also want to share that my football nickname is Chum Chum from the show Fanboy & Chum Chum. I got it because the upperclassmen said that me and Jonathan were a duo and we looked exactly like those two characters off the show.”
